Professional Certifications The constantly increasing demands of the domestic, European and Global market for high-quality products and services, mandates besides the certification of production systems, the certification of professional skills of individuals as well. For this reason, International and European Standards were established that determine the frameworks of certifications, which apply on a global level and are used to demarcate the requirements of the market and legislation.IVEPE-SEV has been conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Welding and Welding Inspectors’ training programs since 1989 at its high technologically equipped labs in Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos and Patras. Upon completion of the educational programs, it organizes the required examinations for obtaining the internationally recognized Level I & II certificates. These certificates are issued by accredited bodies according to EN ISO 17024, the international standard for persons’ certification.IVEPE-SEV, with the aim of offering integrated solutions to its trainees, is also an independent Certification Organization. Its independence as a Certification Body is documented by its organizational structure, its certification by the Hellenic Accreditation System (based on the standard ΕΝ ISO 17024), its approval by the British Institute Of Non-Destructive Testing and its cooperation with the world-renowned companies Argyll Ruane Ltd (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and TWI Training & Examination Services Ltd.More specifically, through its certification by the Hellenic Accreditation System, it grants certificates of competence for: Welders according to ΕΝ ISO 9606-1 and ΕΝ ISO 9606.02:2005 Professional Cleaners according to the Certified Professional Profiles of EOPPEP At the same time, through its approval by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, it provides professional certification regarding the following subjects: Inspectors of Non-Destructive Testing according to PCN Inspectors of Non-Destructive Testing according to ASNT TC1A (American Society of NDT) In addition, IVEPE-SEV conducts examinations for the certification of personnel that uses Condition Monitoring methods for the following methods: Vibration Analysis according to PCN Infrared Thermography according to PCN Acoustic Emission according to PCN Lubrication Management according to PCN IVEPE-SEV is the only certification examination center approved by BINDT in Southeastern Europe and Middle East for providing Condition Monitoring services. It worths to be mentioned that BINDT has certified 41 persons worldwide for conducting and supervising Condition Monitoring exams of which 5 are IVEPE-SEV’s executives.
