IVEPE-SEV participated in the 1st working meeting of EfVET thematic groups hosted on June 4 2019 at the premises of the TKNIKA Research and Educational Center at San Sebastian.

IVEPE-SEV's representative was Mr. Heracles Sioulis (Development Manager) who is also member of the "Technology & Industry 4.0" thematic group.

The aim of the meeting was to study the changes and the effects of the 4th Industrial Revolution on labour and social life and discuss the contribution of vocational training to safeguarding the personnel comptences through upskilling & reskilling of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

During the meeting, 6 workgroups were formed in order to study all the dimensions of the changes brought by the new era and through the excluded conclusions to create the "EfVET Policy Paper" that will contribute to the future of vocational training and the operation of VET College 4.0. The first results of the group's work will be announced at the EfVET 2019 Conference.
