EMBRACIVE is a 24month European project with main aim to promote diversity in the business sector in Greece and Cyprus, through the support and promotion of the Diversity Charter.

EMBRACIVE is implemented by four partners from Greece and Cyprus: the Institute of Industrial and Business Education & Training (IVEPE-SEV), the Centre for European Constitutional Law, Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation, KEAN-Kyttaro Enallaktikon Anazitiseon Neon and the Center for Social Innovation – CSI.

The objective of the project is to promote non-discrimination, combat racism and all forms of intolerance by operationalizing, supporting and promoting diversity management in the business environment in Greece and Cyprus within the following ways:
  • By producing a practical toolkit for diversity management.
  • By enhancing the knowledge and skills of managers, HR staff and employees for diversity management through tailored training and transnational exchange.
  • By piloting the Diversity Management toolkit in a small sample of enterprises to test its relevance and applicability.
  • By promoting the further endorsement of the Diversity Charter by Greek and Cypriot companies through conferences, publications, newsletters, a website and the social media.
The project will result to:
  • An operation tool to support companies in the application of the diversity charters
  • A better understanding of business practices in SMEs and their implications for diversity.
  • Raising awareness in HR and Management staff on diversity within the workplace.
