Quality Policy IVEPE-SEV as a Persons Certification Body, realizing the need for certifying competence and technical capability of professionals in the technical sector, has developed Certification Schemes, based on requirements defined by the international standards and the respective legislative framework. At the same time, IVEPE-SEV has adjusted its Quality Management System according to the requirements of the International Standard ELOT EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012, aiming at a certification process being implemented with documented adequacy, impartiality, objectivity, reliability and validity.IVEPE-SEV as a Persons Certification Body accredited by ESYD: Is supervised by an independent Advisory Board of Certification and Impartiality, representing interests of each Certification Scheme Enforces all the Legislative Provisions in effect Informs all stakeholders of the examination procedures, evaluation and certification Designs, monitors and implements improvements of the effectiveness of all Certification Formats Sets, monitors, reviews and achieves objective targets Reviews the Policy of Quality herein as to the attainment of its goals.
Code of Ethics The certified professional must: Act fairly, professionally and morally. Strive and seek recognition, development and prestige enhancement of the profession. Use the certification only in the field of competence set out by the certification Not undertake tasks for which he/she has not been certified. Inform and not conceal from his/her customers and/or customers of his/her employer about incidents of conflict of interest. Not disclose any confidential information, unless otherwise prescribed by law or by agreement with the stakeholders. Not accept any form of pressure (verbal or material) from anyone that could affect his/her professional judgement. Not act in a way that affects or damages the reputation of the certification body or the certification process. Cooperate in any attempt of investigation for possible Code of Ethics breach. Use and promote his/her certified competence only while the obtained certificate of proficiency is active.
Professional Certifications The constantly increasing demands of the domestic, European and Global market for high-quality products and services, mandates besides the certification of production systems, the certification of professional skills of individuals as well. For this reason, International and European Standards were established that determine the frameworks of certifications, which apply on a global level and are used to demarcate the requirements of the market and legislation.IVEPE-SEV has been conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Welding and Welding Inspectors’ training programs since 1989 at its high technologically equipped labs in Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos and Patras. Upon completion of the educational programs, it organizes the required examinations for obtaining the internationally recognized Level I & II certificates. These certificates are issued by accredited bodies according to EN ISO 17024, the international standard for persons’ certification.IVEPE-SEV, with the aim of offering integrated solutions to its trainees, is also an independent Certification Organization. Its independence as a Certification Body is documented by its organizational structure, its certification by the Hellenic Accreditation System (based on the standard ΕΝ ISO 17024), its approval by the British Institute Of Non-Destructive Testing and its cooperation with the world-renowned companies Argyll Ruane Ltd (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and TWI Training & Examination Services Ltd.More specifically, through its certification by the Hellenic Accreditation System, it grants certificates of competence for: Welders according to ΕΝ ISO 9606-1 and ΕΝ ISO 9606.02:2005 Professional Cleaners according to the Certified Professional Profiles of EOPPEP At the same time, through its approval by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing, it provides professional certification regarding the following subjects: Inspectors of Non-Destructive Testing according to PCN Inspectors of Non-Destructive Testing according to ASNT TC1A (American Society of NDT) In addition, IVEPE-SEV conducts examinations for the certification of personnel that uses Condition Monitoring methods for the following methods: Vibration Analysis according to PCN Infrared Thermography according to PCN Acoustic Emission according to PCN Lubrication Management according to PCN IVEPE-SEV is the only certification examination center approved by BINDT in Southeastern Europe and Middle East for providing Condition Monitoring services. It worths to be mentioned that BINDT has certified 41 persons worldwide for conducting and supervising Condition Monitoring exams of which 5 are IVEPE-SEV’s executives.
