IVEPE-SEV actively participated in the work of the 9th International Conference on Vocational Training on "4th Industrial Revolution: Technology, Sustainability and Values", organized by the Basque Government and TKNIKA at Kursaal Conference Centre in Donostia-San Sebastián.

The congress which was attended by representatives from 50 countries, focused on the effects that the fourth industrial revolution has and will continue to have on people's lives, on their work, on society in general, on businesses, and on the various sectors of production, and also the implications for training, and most especially Professional Training.


The Internation Conference was attended by technical and political representatives from the European Commission, from international bodies such as UNESCO-UNEVOC, the ILO (International Labour Organization), the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States), from Spain's Ministry of Education and Professional Training, from the Autonomous Communities' Departments of Education, and teachers at Professional Training centres in various parts of Europe.

IVEPE-SEV was represented by Mr. Sioulis Hercules (Development Director), who had the opportunity through workshops to exchange views and share best practices with the partners and representatives of EU bodies. IVEPE-SEV also represented the network of the EfVET of whom is an active member.
